Major player in broadcasting (production, distribution rights, publishing and television broadcasting)
RBA supported the client for over 30 years, as it moved from phonogram production and publishing to audiovisual production (sitcoms and prime time viewing), to royalty negotiations (distribution rights) then to directing and broadcasting television channels.
RBA’s mission: the firm helped and continues to assist particularly in:
- Accounting organization and reviews (IFRS accounts)
- Legal restructuring
- Tax inspection monitoring
- Active participation in the IPO on the New York stock exchange (transcription of accounts into US GAAP), then to the technical quotation in Paris
- Negotiation and organization of a foreign TV channel buyout
- Involvement in an OPA and an OPRO
- Negotiation and organization of a capital subscription by a minority shareholder (industry leader), and the transfer of channels after reorganization (of activities). Due diligence during the recent acquisition of two audiovisual production companies (prime time) ….
